A young man begins to question justice and the value of life when a plan to murder the priest accused of molesting his kid brother goes wrong.
Set in the late 90’s, the film deals with the catholic church scandel, family loyalty and the dangers of villianizing those different from you. I wrote, directed and edited the film myself. If it gets enough attention, I might be able to make the feature length version someday. So if you like it, please consider an ole’ repost!

The October Crisis is a drama that tells the story of three brothers in the American Midwest - Jake, Casey and Mac. The film deals Jake and Casey's response to the molestation of his youngest brother Mac by a Catholic priest, Father Thomas. After the police fail to make a conviction, Casey convinces Jake, an outspoken atheist, that they must murder the priest. Set on a path of revenge, Jake must overcome the challenges involved in planning and executing a perfect murder, but must confront his own moral questions & lingering doubts, examining the very nature of faith and justice. The plan puts Jake's relationships to the test and pulls his life into focus...
